What you really learn
A good surf lesson is more than just pushing a board through the foam. We work on reading the water, the safety zone, the paddle, the timing of the take-off and the choice of wave.
For beginners, the objective is simple: understand where to stand, get up properly and leave with the basics that will be used after the stay. For intermediates, we are looking for more speed, more reading and cleaner trajectories.

Le meilleur moment d'un premier cours, c'est souvent le même : tu rames, la vague pousse, la planche accélère et tu te lèves presque sans réfléchir. Même si ça dure deux secondes, ça suffit pour comprendre pourquoi tout le monde revient à l'eau.
Our role is to create this trigger as quickly as possible: a stable board, a suitable white-water area, a few instructions at a time and an instructor who gets you back into the right timing after each attempt. You catch more waves, you laugh more, and you progress without feeling like you're taking an overly technical lesson.

Do you have to be athletic to take a class?+
A normal condition is enough to start. The instructor adapts the board, the spot, the warm-up and the duration to your level.
Are boards and wetsuits included?+
Yes. Board, wetsuit, leash and wax are included in the lessons.
Can you combine surfing and kitesurfing?+
Yes, it’s even very logical in Essaouira. We hold the surf on the swell windows and the kite on the windy days.
